OLYMPUS ARISING
Only the worthy ascends…
Written by Adekunle Eyimofe
Olympus has risen, and the call has gone out across CMUL. The gods are awakening, and all must prepare for the battles ahead.
Some already believe they hold the power, the glory, and the right to rule... but now, it is time to truly battle it out and have a worthy king or queen chosen.
From the wisdom of Athena to the fury of Ares, the chaos of Dionysus, the beauty of Aphrodite, and the dominance of Zeus, each god will rise with its own Olympian force, ready to fight for honour, glory, and the ultimate crown.
The grounds of our world are no longer ordinary. Olympus is upon us. Anticipate the trials coming. Thirst and hunger for the feasts ahead. Gear up for the games, the quests, the clashes, and celebrations unseen.
All of these are poised to unfold on a scale never witnessed before within the walls of CMUL, grander than anything that has come before it.
Now the question remains:
Which god will rise above the rest?
Do the other gods truly have what it takes to unseat Zeus?
Who will conquer through the trials?
Who will be crowned the true ruler of Olympus?
Prepare yourselves.
Watch closely.
Wait.
Because when Olympus rises, only the worthy ascend.

INTRODUCING THE GODS…..
APHRODITE
The frontrunners of Olympus. The first point of contact. The shield standing before every other god. Aphrodite rises from the very frontlines, watching over the land with immaculate views of all beneath her. Queens of the kingdom if you ask us. Housing some of the finest comforts in Olympus while giving shelter to those that govern her. She does not need to scream for attention, her presence already commands it. Beauty, influence, elegance, and power wrapped into one force. But in the battles ahead, will the queens of the frontlines defend their throne?
ARTEMIS
The mergers. The boundary breakers of Olympus. Artemis rises from the house that fears no difference and embraces all without hesitation due to her protective nature. In a kingdom where many divide, they unite. Cutting through gender, identity, and lines drawn within the walls of CMUL. Artemis stands as a force of fearless acceptance and quiet strength. Graceful, adaptive, and impossible to box in, they move differently from the rest. But as Olympus rises, can unity become their greatest weapon?
APOLLO
Some gods do not need noise to announce their arrival. . A multifaceted deity, Apollo embodies brilliance, artistry, strength, and quiet confidence all at once, much like the house he represents. Rivalry has never truly been their thing, perhaps peace comes naturally when surrounded almost entirely by queens. Calm, composed, and confident in their presence, they move like top guns who never need to do too much to remind Olympus who they are. But as the trials draw near, the question remains… do they possess what it takes to withstand the chaos of war when Olympus finally erupts?
DIONYSUS
Custodians of celebration. Keepers of chaos. The spirit of Olympus itself. Who better to bear the title of Dionysus than the queens who have housed, witnessed, and endured the birth, rebirth, and rise of our very own Celebration Court? Their walls have seen champions emerge, nights become legends, and chaos unfold in its purest form. They stomach the madness, embrace the energy, and somehow always rise again louder than before. When Dionysus enters Olympus, celebration erupts.
HEPHAESTUS
How does one stand apart so clearly, yet still blend in so perfectly? Ask the queens of Hephaestus. Existing almost in a world of its own, this kingdom rises with quiet prestige, admired by many and envied by even more. The views are unmatched, the comfort undeniable, and despite resembling its siblings, it somehow continues to stand taller in its own lane.
There is something about this house that undeniably draws attention. Perhaps being represented by the god of fire is no coincidence. A kingdom that has been known to breathe fire more times than Olympus can count, the envy surrounding it is questionable. Beneath the calm prestige lies heat, intensity, and a presence capable of igniting the entire battlefield when provoked.
And now, with Olympus Rising upon us, perhaps this is the moment Hephaestus finally solidifies this enviable position for themselves.
ARES
Perched where much of Olympus can be watched from above, this kingdom carries itself with the confidence of warriors who know exactly who they are. Home to some of the finest men Olympus has to offer, its halls are filled with protectors, healers, and gods built equally for battle and restoration.
Like Ares himself, god of war, this house thrives on intensity, pride, chaos, and the unshaken belief that dominance is there for the taking. And when the battles begin, Olympus will quickly remember why kingdoms built by warriors are never easy to overthrow.
ZEUS
The self-proclaimed Kings. A title not exactly earned through Olympian conquest or any conquest in fact, but one bestowed through the presence of a few notable figures centuries ago who placed Zeus upon the throne without ever truly battling the other houses for dominance. Yet somehow, the crown remained. Power, authority, influence, and command have long followed the name of Zeus, and with that came the confidence of rulers who have sat upon the throne for far too long without being truly challenged.
Zeus has long stood as the symbol of dominance, supremacy, and unquestioned authority within Olympus.
But now, Olympus has risen, and the battlefield stands open for all to challenge the crown.
Power may sit upon their throne, but even kingdoms of kings are not without internal struggles. As the wars ahead unfold, one question lingers through Olympus… will the cracks within their own walls strengthen them, or become the very thing that keeps them from defending the crown they so confidently wear?
HADES
Closest to the throne, and perhaps the kingdom most unafraid of it. Long before Olympus Rising, tensions have always lingered between this house and Zeus, proximity breeding rivalry strong enough to shake the balance of Olympus itself.
Like Hades, ruler of the underworld, this kingdom moves with quiet mystery and power that rarely needs announcement. Within its walls stand healers, thinkers, and gods who understand how to command attention without chasing it. And hidden within their territory lies a vast open ground, calm, beautiful, and far too often untouched, almost as though Olympus has yet to realise the power sitting quietly at its edge.
But kingdoms nearest to the throne often become the most dangerous to ignore.
ATHENA
Old People’s Home, they call it. Yet the irony remains that within these walls exist some of the youngest, sharpest, and finest minds Olympus has ever seen. Athena rises from a house known not just for intellect, but for authority, influence, and quiet command.
Frontliners in their own way, they do not always need noise to establish dominance. Wisdom walks their halls, strategy sits at their tables, and influence follows closely behind. Much like Athena herself, goddess of wisdom, reason, and strategic warfare, this kingdom understands that true power does not always lie in chaos or loud battles, but in calculated moves, preparation, and precision.
While others rush blindly toward war, Athena watches, calculates, and prepares, spear in hand and eyes fixed firmly on the crown.
POSEIDON
The first of the twin kingdoms. Rising before its sister alphabetically and chronologically, this house moves like the tides themselves, calm, loyal, and impossible to ignore. Those within these walls are known for standing firmly beside their own through every storm Olympus throws their way.
Like Poseidon, ruler of the seas, their calm should never be mistaken for weakness. Because when provoked, the tides have been known to shake entire kingdoms.
HERA
The second kingdom, yet never one to stand in anyone’s shadow. This house carries itself with the quiet confidence of royalty, graceful, proud, and deeply rooted in sisterhood. Within these walls, loyalty is worn like a crown and presence alone is often enough to command attention.
Much like Hera herself, queen of Olympus, this kingdom understands power that does not need to beg to be seen.
THE TRIALS BEGIN
The gods have risen.
Alliances has been introduced. Now they must be put to the test.
The gods have awakened
Olympus demands proof of worthiness.
Let the games begin!
